Based in Leamington Spa in the West Midlands I enjoying working hard on creative, interesting projects, and get a kick out of seeing an idea grow as a project into a fully-fledged website.
My emphasis is on clean, simple design that's focused on user-interface interaction using clean, simplistic, standards-compliant code.
Recent work
TheSentOne.org is the new website for a recently set up Christian charity built on the Wordpress framework for simple content management.
The project involved a clean and simple site design for use as a Wordpress theme, customised page templates, a photo gallery and Paypal Donate button. I also created a number of tutorial videos covering site maintenance on the Wordpress system.
IHeartTops.com is the sister website to iheartmugs.com - fully functional online shop using Paypal integration for a payment system.
I worked on developing the user-interface to support multiple products; an updated shopping basket system to handle different attribute selections and product types; updated the on-the-fly image generation code; modified sales management system to display t-shirt and hoodie sales next to mug sales.
WeAreUnitedUK.org was a promotional website design that I created for the Evangelical Alliance for a post-World Cup advertising campaign.
This project involved working purely with Photoshop, developing the concept closely with the client on a tight deadline.
